Moose the Cat needs a home


We are looking for volunteers to keep as many adoption venues and days open as possible.  We want to expand back to Sundays but we just don't have enough volunteers.  If you have 4-5 hours per month to help get these guys adoptioned we can show you how!  Contact us at [email protected].

FIV Positive needs a home!


Meet Moose. He is a big boy all of 2 years old. Moose is more like a dog and is one of the happiest go lucky cats ever and considering his background, thats saying something. Moose has been living in the parking lot of a commercial building since a teenager.  He is such a friendly, loving guy who is so happy to see you, he greets you at the door and rubs all over you. He loves everyone including other cats. Not sure about dogs. Moose has one issue. He tested positive for FIV but that doesnt mean he wont live a long, healthy life.  Since FIV is contracted through biting and pre-alter behaviors, most people and Vets feel it is not an issue. He would be a great one cat only home, companion for another FIV feline or as a new member of your cat family.  You will be sold on his purring chirp. Its adorable! He also has great manners.


The adoption fee is $90 for kittens up to one year and $70 for adults over one year.   All cats have been spayed/neutered FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested, dewormed, Advantage flea preventative and microchipped!.



Adoptions will be at the PETCO in Fairfield on Saturdays from 11:00 - 3:00 p.m.  Since all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats are available every weekend.  Please contact us to make sure the specific kitty you would like to see will be available for you to meet at [email protected]
